Welcome to ChannelShipper
May 26, 2023
As stated above, welcome. This is the first ChannelShipper blog. It is going to be our aim to blog about eCommerce, web stores, marketplaces and issues and subjects that will hopefully educate and inform you on the world of eCommerce; we thought we’d get the; What is ChannelShipper? Question answered first of all though.
A few years back, StoreFeeder, the platform from which ChannelShipper came, designed and delivered Click & Drop for Royal Mail. This is a platform we are incredibly proud of and continue developing and managing to this day. We are all now part of the Royal Mail family, as you may have guessed.
Working closely with Click & Drop and their users, we have become acutely aware of certain features customers want that Click & Drop doesn’t provide. It is for this reason that we developed ChannelShipper.
Our goal was to design and deliver a shipping management solution, with the integrations customers want, with entry-level pricing and automated features that save enough time to cover the subscription fee and more.
First up is SmartPack. This allows you to create shipping rules against orders. Put simply; this means that single or multi-line orders can be assigned rules that dictate the shipping service that order is given. That means no more weighing or measuring; when an order is processed and dispatched, the label ChannelShipper creates, will be specific to that order. The correct postage and the best deal for the order’s size, weight or value will be assigned. This means that your dispatch team should get the postage right every time. Over time this creates major savings.
Next, we have the auto-order import; as your orders come in, ChannelShipper will automatically import them so that they can be managed and dispatched in one dashboard. New and exclusive for ChannelShipper is the trigger import button; this will allow you to trigger imports; this is especially helpful at the busiest times of the year, such as Black Friday and the Christmas period.
ChannelShipper will integrate with most web stores, including WooCommerce, EKM, Shopify, Magento, BigCommerce, Squarespace and Bluepark. ChannelShipper integrates with Amazon, eBay, Etsy, and Not on the High Street marketplaces.
So, that is us, in a nutshell. If you need any further information or want to look at ChannelShipper, you can get in touch here.
That’s it for this blog, we’ll have another next week.
